Lately I’ve been stuck at work all week, just grinding through the days and watching the clock like it owes me money. It’s been one of those stretches where the fluorescent lights feel extra soul-sucking.

BUT I’ve got Thursday off for Valborg, and that’s keeping me going. If you’re not familiar, Valborg is a spring celebration here in Sweden, kind of like a mix of bonfires and general “yay, winter’s finally over” energy. People gather, light huge fires, and celebrate the return of light and warmth. Honestly, I’m here for it.

And despite the work slog, I’ve been on an absolute roll with comics lately. Ideas are flowing and I’m actually excited to sit down and draw every evening. Feels good to be in the zone.
