I actually finished up this comic last year after I ran into the guy that was the head of the Chess Club when I was a kid. Like 10 years old, and the guy looks exactly like he did back then, some 22 years ago. And the thought did cross my mind that maybe one day I should go back to the local chess club and see how I stack up against the people there. Buuuuuuut I’ve got very little free time as it is so I’ll just stick to comics for now. Thank you very much 😛

But yeah, I was the junior club champion when I retired, and I am still proud of that 🙂

Anyway, it’s always fun to make a Fight Club joke whenever I can. Still one of my favourite movies of all time. And I am pretty sure that a chess club is as far away from a fight club as you can get 🙂
