Where Is Freeman?

Alot of people thought that they would finally get Half-Life 2: Episode 3 at E3 this year. And so did I actually. I mean: Half-Life 2 was released in 2004, Episode 1 in 2006 and Episode 2 in 2007… That makes it 3 years since we had a new episode in the series.  Some video game companies doesn’t know this, but the idea with episodic play is to release stuff quickly. Buuut… Yeah. I don’t think that 3 years is quick. Maybe it would be time for a Half-Life 3 all together maybe?

Well I don’t really mind though. I finished Half-Life 2. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Started playing Episode 1, but it was boring. And Episode 2 is, from what I’ve heard, even worse… So naaah… I ‘d rather play myself some Portal or  Portal 2 :)

Anyway, I figured that there must be a reason why HL2:E3 is so delayed. And well… I am sure that Gordon got stuck in the booze and drugs carousel like all the other stars of our generation :) Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Well, That’s it for today. I’ll see you guys on Saturday!

hahahaha hump that shit freeman! 😛
it would be cool though if they did a remake of the first half-life game with a darker and more gruesome tone and texture to it. ^_^ yummie!!

Benny: I am absolutely sure that is the answer 😀

Ebbe: Yeah that would be awesome! That actually got me thinking of the “Black Mesa Source” mod that they started working on before, where they recreate Half-Life 1 with the Half-Life 2 graphics engine. I must say it is looking a bit darker than the original. It is looking pretty damn good :)

    Check the trailer at http://www.blackmesasource.com/index.php

I’ll definitely try that out when it is done :) The only downside is that they’ve been working on it since I played HL2 last time around… which was like 2 years ago. And it has the release date “When it is done”… Those words really get me thinking of Duke Nukem for some reason :)

    Jimmy: Awesome dude :)
