The Mountains Of Madness – Part Two

Yeah it’s been long overdue, but here it is! The second part of The Mountains of Madness!! The orginstory of Zeki and Cthulhu!

There isn’t an obvious joke here, but rather some exposition. Zeki is the best tracker there ever is!! Now you know. And he is on a expedition in the Arctic. Now.. What are they looking for? Who are they working for? What will they find? Those questions might be answered in the next strip πŸ™‚ I must say that the comic came out very good. I pictured it as being quite gray and dark but I guess the yellow suits sure was a big splash of color πŸ™‚

Sorry for the delay though. It’s been alot of things the last week, and not to mention that I am sick at the moment… again. And today is my birthday! πŸ™‚ But ah well. I came though for you people and here it is!! Hope you enjoy it. The next comic should be up faster than this one πŸ™‚

Now I’ll be on my way to bed now, so I’ll see you guys next time πŸ™‚

    Greetings from SkΓ₯ne!

As you might know I’m usually a lurker on the internet, not really commenting or posting in forums, but this time I just felt that I needed to ask you about this.

I’ve read that novel, and in it, the location is the antarctic, not the arctic. Is this intentional on your part, or is it just a typo?

Anyway, great comic, I’ve read your posts all the way back when it was “just” a blog, which was many years ago, and you still keep at it. That’s not bad πŸ™‚

Hope you had a great birthday yesterday, I’m back in SkΓ₯ne now. It’s much warmer here so all the snow is melting, slush everywhere, yuck.

anywho, i love it Mr.T πŸ˜€ i want more, more i tell you more! πŸ˜€

    Hey Karin!

Yeah, I was hoping that noone would notice it until I changed it πŸ™‚ But yeah, it is suppose to be the Antarctic, like in the novel… Yeah I blame the mixup on that I am sick and didn’t doublecheck it πŸ˜› haha.

But I am glad that you brought that up and that you enjoy the site so much πŸ™‚ Hopefully I won’t stop making my comics for a long long time.

Hehe, I can imagine that it’s all slush over there. But it’s good though. It’ll be sun and warmth in notime πŸ™‚

Response to Benny’s remark: I will take a guess and assume that you were refering to the fact that depending on how the arctic is defined, the antarctic could be included in that definition. However, using Arctic to refer to Antarctic is ambiguous and should be avoided.

Response to Tobbe: I’m sorry for being such a besserwisser, but you know how I’m like πŸ˜› It doesn’t really bother me, I was just curious if you had intentionally made it so that the tale would take place in the opposite side of the planet, for some storyrelated reason πŸ™‚

You got a cold? Hope you feel better now. Valle was sick while I was away too, but we’re all fine here now. I bought him Bioshock 2 as a birthday gift, so he’s playing that, and I’m sitting with him in the sofa with my computer playing n64games.

Yeah, it’s been raining today as well, typical SkΓ₯ne-weather. But it’ll help the snow to melt away. I just want spring now, we’ve had enough winter.

@Benny: There’s more already πŸ˜‰ Check it out. hehe.

@Karin: Hehe yeah I know how you are like πŸ˜› But yeah, I can imagine how that would be a bit confusing. But now I’ve updated it so it should be right. HAH! πŸ™‚

Btw I am feeling a little better every day. Thanks. I am glad that Valle is feeling better too. It’s never fun to be sick. Did you get any awesome birthdaygifts yourself btw?

Is it still raining in SkΓ₯ne or is it like over here… MASSIVE SNOWBLIZZARD OF DOOM!!?

  6. Panthera on February 20th, 2010 at 23:40

No, I hate being sick, have not had a single cold this winter, and I intend to keep it that way. It’s kind of strange though, since I have been out jogging in below minus ten, without getting sick. That’s usually like asking for a cold πŸ˜›

Good, hot cocoa and lots of rest, and you’ll be fine in notime. Yeah, I got some nice things. Among others a book with stories about cats from different writers (like Neil Gaiman, Stephen King etc.) so that one is going to be very interesting, and I got a waffle-making-thingy as well (since it seems impossible to get some good waffles in this town, Valle decided to buy machine so we could make them at home), and some other stuff. Did you get something nice?

Well, no blizzard here today, but I heard that there was a lot of rough weather further up the country. We still got a lot of snow here though, seems like it’s hard to get rid of, once it is here.
