The autumnal equinox has come and gone—so I guess that’s it. Summer’s officially over. The long days, the sunshine, the lazy evenings… all traded in for crisp mornings, falling leaves, and way too much pumpkin spice. Autumn’s here, baaaby!

In between all that seasonal mood-shifting, I’ve been sinking a lot of time into Final Fantasy XVI. And it’s been incredible. The last Final Fantasy I played was X-2, so yeah… it’s been a while. Coming back after all these years feels both nostalgic and fresh at the same time. The new combat system, the story, the sheer grandness of it all. It’s been hitting just right.

So yeah, I’ll be embracing the fall weather with a controller in one hand hand, a coffee in the other and maybe a cozy blanket nearby. Summer might be gone, but gaming season? That never ends.
