Believe it or not, I actually started working on this comic way back in 2021. The original plan was to have the whole family in the first panel—which worked out fine. But once I got to the third panel, I realized that having all four of us plus Cthulhu was already pushing it. And all four of us + Cthulhu + escaping crabs… Yeah, that panel turned into pure chaos.

I spent way too long trying to make it work, but it was just a mess. Then a few weeks ago it hit me—why not just have Sam and me in the first panel? Suddenly everything clicked. Sometimes the simplest fix is the one you should’ve done from the start.

Gotta admit, it feels REALLY good to finally finish an old comic that’s been sitting around unfinished for years. Good job, me!
