I loved Duke Nukem. And in a way, I still do. He is a parody of every 80&#8217;s-Action-Hero you have ever seen. He is\u00a0 extremely patriotic (to America, of course), has lots of corny one-liners (Even if he steals them from other movies), and he is built like a fucking house. Take that character, and put him in a controversial game filled with pornography, obscenities, graphic violence, drug use and other taboo topics, and you got yourself a winner. It was no wonder he was as popular as he was back in the day.<\/p>\n<p>But then, in 1997 something happened&#8230; Or rather didn&#8217;t happened.\u00a0 &#8220;Duke Nukem Forever&#8221;. And after the game was in development for 12 years they shut the project down.\u00a0 Yeah, every gamer know this story (Although I am not sure if they are completely closed down. We&#8217;ll see). Anyway, it has always been fun to imagine the Duke, the most macho of macho men, in a battle with Pokemon&#8230; The Carebears of vieogames.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, and the bartender is a cameo of <a href=\"http:\/\/thatguywiththeglasses.com\/videolinks\/thatguywiththeglasses\/vgcon\/5904-ep1mario\" target=\"_blank\">Dominic<\/a>, from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/thatguywiththeglasses.com\/videolinks\/thatguywiththeglasses\/vgcon\/8345-vgcsheik\" target=\"_blank\">Video Game Confessions<\/a>&#8221; over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thatguywiththeglasses.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com<\/a> . Go over there and check it out when you read the comic. It&#8217;s hilarious \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>And so this comic came to be \ud83d\ude42 It was very fun to draw, and I hope every one enjoys it.
